Monty Python's Life of Brian caused much controversy upon release due to its setting in biblical times. The story revolves around an ordinary young man called Brian, who through a series of misunderstandings, gets mistaken for the Messiah. In true Monty Python style the film manages to be silly, clever but above all hilarious from start to finish.
